Every week, this pup heads to the cemetery with her owner, and without fail, she finds a grave - one belonging to someone she’s never met.
Joshua Boyle adopted Zola in 2021, four years after his mother, Judy Boyle, passed away at 68. Since then, Joshua and Zola make regular visits to Locust Hill Cemetery in Chester, West Virginia. And each time, the pit bull amazes him by finding her grandma’s grave, despite never meeting her.
“I was emotional and very happy to see her run to my mom’s grave,” Josh said. “I swear my mom is there in spirit greeting my puppy.”
Joshua, 38, says his mom was a big dog lover who always had toys and treats on hand.
