Lindsay Lohan shares post-baby body selfie: 'I'm not a regular mom, I'm a postpartum mom'

Lindsay Lohan is embracing motherhood.

"The Parent Trap" star, 37, shared the first glimpse of her life postpartum since welcoming her son Luai, an Arabic name that means "shield" or "protector."

"I am so proud of what this body was able to accomplish during these months of pregnancy and now, recovery," Lohan wrote on Instagram Wednesday along with a mirror selfie rocking a cropped tank top and postpartum underwear.

The first time mom gushed, "Having a baby is the greatest joy in the world!"

She also threw in a reference from Amy Poehler's iconic "Mean Girls" character, adding, "I'm not a regular mom, I’m a postpartum mom." 

Lohan's mom Dina praised her daughter in the comments section. "You look beautiful with a mommy’s glow."

"He is so gorgeous and such a beautiful gift to us all ….. what a beautiful thing I saw as you and our lil blessing bonded …… miracles happen my love," she added.

Lohan's former "Parent Trap" co-star Lisa Ann Walter commented, "You look so fit and healthy and gorgeous! Awwwww that little man had made you even more beautiful."

"Mean Girls" star Jonathan Bennett added: "You’ve never looked more beautiful."

Lohan and her husband Bader Shammas welcomed a "beautiful, healthy son," her representative Leslie Sloane confirmed to USA TODAY on July 17. The newborn's exact birth date was not released.

"The family is over the moon in love," Sloane said in a statement.

This is Lohan and Shammas' first child together.

The couple's latest adventure as parents arrived a year after she announced her marriage to the financier in July 2022. They got engaged in November 2021.

"I am the luckiest woman in the world. You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time," Lohan wrote in a tribute to her husband last July. "I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. Every woman should feel like this everyday."
