Madonna is feeling "lucky" to be alive after her ICU hospitalization in June.

"Love from family and friends is the best Medicine. One month out of the hospital and I can reflect," the 64-year-old wrote in the caption of an Instagram post Monday.

She shared her gratitude for her children and her friends.

"As a Mother you can really get caught up In the needs Of your children and the seemingly endless giving……….. But when the chips were down my children really showed up for me. I saw a side to them I had never seen before. It made all the difference," she wrote. "So did the love and support from my friends."

Madonna is a mother to four children: Lourdes Leon, 26, whom she shares with Carlos Leon; Rocco Ritchie, 22, whom she shares with Guy Ritchie; David Banda, 17, whom she shares with Guy Ritchie and Yohane Banda; and Mercy James, 17, whom she shares with James Kambewa.

In the carousel of photos she shared, Madonna can be seen in one shot holding an image – which she said was a gift from her friend and manager Guy Oseary.

"If you zoom into this Picture I am holding You will see A Polaroid taken by Andy Warhol of Keith Haring wearing a jacket with Michael Jackson’s face painted on it. A perfect triangle of Brilliance," she wrote, noting those artists touched her life. "I sobbed when I opened this gift because I realized how lucky I am to be alive. And how fortunate I am to have known these people and so many others who are also gone."

The "Vogue" singer also thanked her "angels."

The pop icon shared last month that she was on the mend after a bacterial infection left her hospitalized in June. The singer took to Instagram to share plans to reschedule the North American leg on her upcoming tour, moving around 40 concerts.

"I'm on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all my blessings in life," she said in a statement shared to Instagram.

Madonna postponed her upcoming Celebration Tour initially as she was recuperating from a stay in a New York intensive care unit due to a "serious bacterial infection," in June. Oseary posted a message on Instagram at the time that the singer was expected to make a full recovery.
